This is great! One of the most consistent and complete examples I've seen so far. I appreciate that it's browser playable.

Like other commenters the hit box confused me in regards to spikes and I thought I missed something on the last level but that's to be expected.

I kind of expected to find a little easter egg in there somewhere or something, but alas.

Really cool game! I found it quite challenging but it was very fun. The music and art style was very retro and I liked all the different enemies you created. Overall a very fun and enjoyable game :D

I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)

Thank you! I didn't hear about it yet, but I checked it out after reading your comment. I don't believe that I'm ready for it yet, but in near future, who knows.

nice one. made it to the end.

Too bad the last level is bugged and the character isn't where is should be, but I can't upload the fixed version until the Game Jam ends.

in the end I only noticed I could go through the wall at least from the inner side. and in one level seems one area not accessible, spikes can kill the character near his head when it shouldn't because he should be standing before them. but other than I didn't notice any issue. these all are minor to me. it's great for less than 3 days.

Nice one! I made it to the end after about 10 tries.  I liked the steady progression of dufficulty and the addition of new obstacles - it kept the game interesting  so I wanted to keep playing  even after I kept dying! lol. I think I may have cheated on the last level though because I went left made it through the spikes no problem. It seems like there was more going on that I skipped over lol. Anyway, I had fun playing.  Great job on your entry overall!

How do you get past the spikes? The player fits 1.1 or 1.2 size of the tiles...

The hitboxes are a little strange. You have to align the dudes feet to the top of a spike block to not get hit.

This game wouldn't load for me. I was playing using version 68.0.1 (64-bit) of the Mozilla Firefox web browser on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. The bar turned black, but I don't see any option to continue or instructions on how to play.

Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

The first time it takes longer to load, even if the loading bar is filled there should still be 30-40 seconds left.  Try giving it more time, 5 minutes should do. If the problem persists don't hesitate to reply. This is how it should look after it's fully loaded.
